vinvolved is the new national youth volunteering programme for 16-25 year olds. vinvolved team Sefton is one of 107 teams across the country dedicated to increasing the number and quality of volunteering opportunities for young people.

vinvolved is all about putting the youth back into youth volunteering!

We want the interests and passions of young people to lead this project - we’re committed to enabling a lasting change in the quality, quantity and diversity of youth volunteering. Our aim is to create a culture where it is natural for young people to volunteer and natural for organisations to support them in doing so because the benefits of volunteering are widely understood and celebrated.

No matter what you’re into, what skills or experience you have, whether you’re new to volunteering or have done it before, we can help you find a new volunteering opportunity.

We also believe in recognising the amazing things you do, so we can provide v Awards to record, recognise and reward the positive impact you have made through volunteering!

vinvolved Sefton’s vision:

- To increase the number of young volunteers in Sefton
- To increase the number of organisations engaging young volunteers in Sefton
- To recognise the achievements of young volunteers
- To improve the perception of youth volunteering
- To be youth led
