Volunteer Centre Sefton offers information, advice and guidance on all aspects of volunteering to potential volunteers and recruiting groups and organisations. No matter what you’re into, what skills or experience you have, whether you’re new to volunteering or have done it before, we can help you find a new volunteering opportunity. Interested in encouraging and motivating other young people to achieve their goals? If so, become a Mentor with Innov8 Mentoring Project. Accredited training is given. Find out more here. Achieving People will support people aged 18 – 64 who have a learning disability into volunteering, unpaid work placements and paid employment. The Handy Help Service carries out accident prevention work and small household repairs for people over 60 in Southport and Formby. North Sefton Social Inclusion Project for Older People These clubs are for older people who find themselves socially isolated for whatever reason, once again giving them the opportunity to socialise and make friends.
