What can I do?
There is a vast range of volunteering available now, you can do something with people, in offices, with animals, conservation.
You might want to do administration, befriending, DIY, ship restoration, sports coach, finance, dog fostering, events, management committees, classroom support amongst a host of other areas.
When you are trying to decide what it is you are going to do, make sure that it is something that you are going to enjoy. There is a full list on our registration form.
One to One Advice Sessions
Volunteer Centre Sefton offers one-to-one appointments, giving you an opportunity to talk to an experienced advisor about what you want from volunteering.
These sessions are informal and are held at our offices in Southport and Waterloo, making it easy for you to get to us.
To attend one of these sessions you would need to call us on 01704 501024, ext 206 or 212, and make an appointment.
You will be able to discuss what it is you want from your volunteerin and what interests you, whilst we compare your interests to the range of opportunities available.
Finding a Volunteering Opportunity
Volunteer Centre Sefton continually updates a database full of over 800 interesting and varied volunteering opportunities available in and around Sefton. You can search available volunteering opportunities now using the Opportunity Search on the left or look at the list of project that we are currently running.
