Sefton Celebrates Three Winners of the King’s Award for Voluntary Service
Sefton is celebrating after Ainsdale in Bloom, Bootle Action Group CIC, and Sea Cadets Sefton were all honoured with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service in November 2025 — the highest national recognition given to volunteer groups in the UK. The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is often described as the “MBE for volunteer groups.”

Join the Beach Clean at Hightown, Sefton!
Winter beach clean dates Sefton has some beautiful coastal spaces, but they need our help to stay clean and safe for everyone. You can make a real difference by joining the Hightown beach clean in Sefton and helping to protect wildlife, prevent pollution, and preserve our local environment. When: Tuesdays, 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
